What topics do you speak on?
I speak on motivation, personal leadership, and strategies for life-long success. My speeches and seminars focus on how to develop a positive mindset to improve the quality of your relationships and careers.
My most popular seminar is "Spell SUCCESS In Your Life", based on my book with the same title. I customize this presentation to fit the needs of different audiences (corporate, non-profit, and public). This seminar gets people moving in the direction of their dreams, and inspires them to embrace and honor their goals, and most importantly, take action!
What is the primary message of your book?
The main message of my book is that it is never too late to achieve greatness in your life. No matter what circumstances you find yourself in at the moment, you can always take action to create positive changes in your life. Many people feel that their potential is limited because they don’t have enough money to pursue their dreams, or they feel that their dreams are too big, and that they’re not being realistic.
This book tells you how you can begin to change that mindset of negative thinking, and begin to open a new chapter in your life –one of hope and numerous possibilities.
Why did you decide to write a book on personal improvement and success?
There were three major reasons why I decided to write this book. First of all, five years ago, I read a book by motivational speaker, Les Brown, entitled "Live Your Dreams." At that time, my life was low on hope, and my future seemed very uncertain. Les Brown’s message was powerful and reminded me that it was possible to live my dreams.
The second reason was that I have always been fascinated with the concept of success. Writing this book allowed me to explore the psychological, social, and personal elements of success.
The third, and most important, reason was a genuine desire to help other people find success and personal fulfillment in their lives. My book does not attempt to tell people how they should live their lives, but rather inspire them to find meaning and purpose in their relationships and careers.
How is your book unique from other self-development books?
My book is different from the rest in that I not only show the reader how she can achieve success and fulfillment, but how to prepare for success, and how to cope with the attention and changes that accompany success. Many people are unprepared to handle the notoriety that comes with success, and end up engaging in self-destructive behavior. This book tells you how to survive the challenges that success brings to your life, and how to be perpetually successful in your life.
What type of response have you received from the public?
The response to my book and my message has been overwhelmingly positive!
I have received very positive feedback from numerous people on the inspirational content of my book (and speech). Aside from the accolades and trophies, I have had people write to me or call me to thank me for inspiring them, just from reading a couple of chapters from my book or hearing one of my speeches.
